Katie is a Texas native, currently living in Denver, Colorado as a morning news anchor for KWGN/KDVR. Passionate, knowledgeable, talented, and determined are words to describe her. She is compassionate and charismatic. Viewers trust her.

Katie is a graduate of Texas A&M. She grew up in Houston with her four siblings. After college, Katie went West to start her broadcast career in San Angelo, Texas. That's where she reported on sports. A short time later, Midland, Texas called and she went to anchor the evening newscasts for KMID. She stayed for four years before moving out of state for the first time. Katie has called Denver home for the past three years.
